Lauren and Damian's for dinner

Lauren cooked us all a wonderful meal!
1st course:
-Tomato bread (some with proscuitto and some without)
-Green bean and asparagus salad
-Shrimp and clams in a spicey tomato broth (with fennel)

Main course:
-Cheesy potato gratin
-Beef stewed in cognac and red wine (with tomatoes, carrots, celery)
-Mushrooms with thyme and marsala wine

Mmmmmmm.
